Our favorite trek to reach the Mt Everest Base Camp!

This itinerary is a top most trekkers’ bucket list! A timeless classic, it offers a unique travel experience as you trek through rugged terrain, explore quaint Sherpa villages, and traverse beautiful forests, cultivated fields, & glacial moraines. Perhaps the best part of the trip are the incredible views of Everest from a top Kalapathar. For the grand finale, your group will arrive at the iconic Everest Base Camp!
The adventure begins with a scenic mountainous flight to Lukla – the gateway to the Everest. The flight serves up spectacular views of lush valleys and high mountains. You’ll enjoy the warm hospitality of the Sherpa community and continue on to Namche via unique suspension bridges that cross the narrow gorge of the Dudh Koshi river. Next, discover unique Buddhist culture through ancient monasteries and get glimpses of magnificent views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse and other surrounding peaks.
This Everest Base Camp trek difficulty is relatively moderate as compared to other Himalayan trekking routes in Nepal.
Our approach is designed to help you successfully complete the trek. We ensure that trip leaders are experienced and understand the importance of having awesome guides! As our company is owned by a medical professional, we take safety seriously and have built in time to acclimatize in both Namche and Dingboche. Furthermore our guides are properly trained in the latest US-level safety protocols for high altitude sickness.
This is the right trek for you if you’re looking for a fun, unforgettable, and challenging way to see Everest! Contact us to learn more!

When Is The Best Time To Go?

Although open year round, we recommend going during either Spring (March to May) or Autumn (September to November). During these times, you have the best chance of favorable weather conditions and should get some amazing views throughout the trip. The temperatures are relatively moderate and you’ll likely avoid the fog and haze of monsoon season as well as the frigid winter conditions.

Why Do Trekkers Like You Love This Itinerary?

  • It is a moderately hard 11-day trek reaching a maximum altitude of 18,209 ft (5,550 m)
  • Expect to walk 6-7 hours each day with daily ascends of about 1,300- 2,300 ft (400-700 m)
  • Suitable for anyone with moderate fitness level, from a beginner trekkers to experienced adventurers. High altitude is the most challenging factor but we factor in time to acclimatize
  • Past hiking experience would be favorable, though technical skills are not required
